Israel in November 2007 - Come and go

Since I met Moshe, who lives close to Tel Aviv, on a conference in Saarbrücken in march 2007 we stayed in contact via email and during the month the plan to visit him came up. In late october I flew to Tel Aviv to visit Moshe.
The plan was to spent a few days with him in Eilat at the Red Sea. The first idea was to go there by bus. On the way back to Tel Aviv I wanted to get off somewhere in the Negev - the desert in the southern part of Israel. After a few days of hiking I wanted to go by bus to the Dead Sea and to Masada. From there to Jerusalem to visit another friend and finally back to Tel Aviv to meet Moshe once again and to fly back home.
As I said, that was the plan. But you know what plans are for: to be changed! And it was worth it!
Early in the morning! The sun rises at 7 a.m. over power plants in the Ruhrgebiet.
Crossing the alps as I flew to Milano to transfer the plane. The white city - Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Holon, Bat Jam... and other cities in the conurbation of Tel Aviv.
Me after two weeks in Israel awaiting the connecting flight in Milano . 6 hours can be very boring!Almost back in Düsseldorf. A sunset that reflects the outcome of the trip. The old goes - the new rises!
